I, for one, was wrong
I defended Dave Brandon during the departments upheaval and I could not have been more wrong. Fast forward a few weeks and I sit here in complete shock and awe of the job Hackett has done. Today truly is a special day in Michigan's history.

At the beginning, DB said and did all the right things... and that coming off of Barnacle Bill and the failed coaching search could have made the nastiest pile of poo still smell like roses.
Bill Martin was such a disaster as an AD, the alums and fanbase were so starved for leadership, getting fooled by a charlatan like DB is completely understandable.
