How West Virginians see America
Fairly accurate, as far as I can tell!

Good laugh to start the day.
+1 for whoever made that.
Well, here I was getting ready to get all offended because I live in W-BG-Va and then I opened it. And then I laughed. Because I've been guilty of visualizing the map that way - EXCEPT the part about Michigan.
LOL!
Whoever did that also is pretty plugged into the news with Oklahoma as well.
A very good chuckle to start the day... and man, if you can't laugh at yourself a bit, then you need to lighten up.
Thanks for posting!
I'm glad everyone is enjoying the map.
BTW, I'm from Marshall Country (Go Herd!), so the saga of WVU fan's reaction to RichRod moving up a notch in the world was LMFAO funny to me and all the other folk in and around Huntington.
Oh, yeah, and OSU sux. :)
Thanks again,
Chris James

PS - Click on the WV hot dog blog link on my blogroll to read about why y'all need to put some slaw on your conies.
I saw it linked on another forum and, given my Michigan allegiance, just HAD to post this here. Great stuff!
Ahahaha, very nice.
I especially like “Alaska with Beer.” That’s probably the nicest thing anyone’s ever said about Wisconsin.
Slaw on a Coney?? Chris, mixing cabbage and the chili on a coney might be a little rough.
it's a toppin'. :)
A quick FYI on coneys. Michigan has a far amount of Coney Islands, but they don't, per se, specialize in the traditionally accepted idea of the coney-style hot dog. Mostly, Coney Islands are just restaurants owned by Greek immigrants who make really good breakfast food.
All I know about Michigan I learned from Wikipedia, so, in addition to the little bit about y'all's hot dogs, I also know that your state was founded in 69 CE by Optimus Prime and your primary employers are the Big Three and jessica rulzz!!1!
Being "The Hybrid" (M Native, WV Resident) I've seen both sides of this plate. When I lived in M I would order "2 on 1 without" - that meant 2 Coney dogs on one plate with no onions. In WV I order 2 Hot Dogs "with sauce." You would have to ask for the onions in WV.
