How to rewatch 4K game downloads

In case you missed it, I posted a 4K torrent of the game - https://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/2022-11-26-ncaaf-michigan-ohio-state-2160p-hevc-hdr-v10-torrent-link#comments-section

tldr; it's not easy to watch 4K HDR game recordings. Part of the reason it's not easy is that 99.99% of computers don't have HDR screens. Newer TVs have HDR, but you need largely need an Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick 4K to stream the game over your own network from a laptop/desktop, to either VLC (Apple TV / Amazon App Store) or Infuse (Apple TV exclusive app).

Samsung TVs - Some people have said that they are able to transfer files to a USB stick, plug it in the back of the TV, and play it back. That's probably the easiest thing to do, but I can't confirm this because I don't own a Samsung TV.

LG/other TVs - I have an LG C1 OLED. Unfortunately the built in media player is dog shit and won't play back .MKV files. Here's what you need to do.

1) You have a laptop and desktop computer, are familiar with setting sharing a folder over the network. This folder is shared out via the SMB protocol, which VLC (open source app available on the iOS and Amazon App stores) can access and stream to the Apple TV 4K or Amazon Fire Stick 4K. I've tried both devices, it works.

2) VLC on the Amazon Fire Stick 4K (2020 and 2022 model) works well. I just bought a 2022 Apple TV 4K (128GB) and that thing flies, I prefer that. I use the Infuse app, which also gives you Dolby Vision streaming support for downloaded MKV files ;)

Anyways, if you have questions on how to play back the file, let me know in this thread or join the Discord server - https://discord.gg/UZdwcjEuqm

If the colors look washed out, it means your playback device screen doesn't support HDR. When you play it back on a 4K HDR screen, the colors look quite vibrant.
