How many RB's do we get in this year's class?
Looking at the 2010 recruiting board, we already have 2 running back commits, and we are close to the top for many other recruits including: Austin White, Cassius Mcdowell, Dietrich Riley, Nickell Robey, Eduardo Clements (not sure) and maybe even Brennan Clay. Considering we lose several quality backs after this year, how many running backs will we get this class, and will it be like the WR recruiting where we recruit in mass? Thanks for the input.
one more. Either Clay or White.
Not sure, but I do not consider Tony Drake a RB, I presumed he was headed to slot, similar to Teric Jones. I reserve the right to be wrong on both counts.
One of those will likely be determined on Jeremy Gallon's academic status, as well as who we can get to commit for the rest of the class.
I'm pretty sure, like someone said above, that Drake is headed for slot territory. Hopkins is obviously a running back. So we have one, and I think we'll take two more.
I get the feeling the coaches would take one fast guy and then a tweener.
I am desperately hoping that Nick Hill gets a scholarship offer. I think he'd be a very solid addition to the team. However, if we do indeed take only two more it's not looking good. My best bets would be:
-Cassius McDowell
-Austin White/Brennan Clay
If we got White and McDowell, I think we could possibly take another one. Either of those guys has the ability to play slot (although White is almost certainly going to be a RB).
