How Are You Getting Through The Offseason?

I don't know about any of you, but I've been jonesing for football content harder than I usually do around this time of the year. With the unlikely success of last year's team and the potential (particularly on offense) of the 2022 team, I haven't been able to stop thinking about Michigan football.

Given that there's only so much content to go around on the upcoming season, I needed to find another way to fill the void, so I've made the decision to go back and watch condensed versions of every game from every season since I became a die-hard fan. Unfortunately for me, my fandom started in 2007. I just finished the 2010 season and I think watching the Rich Rod defenses unlocked some trauma I must have buried deep down, BUT it does make me a lot more grateful about our current situation.

This exercise got me thinking, what crazy things have the MGoBlog folks been doing to get through this long offseason?

I mean it's summer, the days are long, it's nice and warm out so getting outside, hiking, biking (at least when not doing the M-F work thing here on the computer).

I'm getting through it by booking my tickets through the DC Alumni Association (should arrive soon!), booking a room at the Bell Tower on campus, and coming down for Labor Day weekend so my son can be fully immersed in all things University of Michigan. He will lose his mind!

Wife (not a grad) and I havent been back since pre-kids. First game of the year is perfect. The fact that its under 100 days away makes it even more exciting, despite 3 vacations between now and then!! haha
