Horford to transfer for Final Year
It looks like Jon Horford will transfer after he graduates in May. No word on what program he is heading too, but best of luck to him. Time for big man speculation!!!

I just want to point out that any of you who actually follow Horford's sister on twitter are fucking psychopaths. (Unless of course you know her personally).
People who COMMENT on her twitter as if they know her are indeed a little different...But seriously, you're on a Michigan blog. How much time do you spend here? People start public twitter accounts to see how many followers they can snag. Otherwise they'd keep them private(and some people have both). You don't think Brian(or someone on the staff) has been monitoring friends and family twitter accounts?
Horford is clearly a very thoughtful and complex guy who probably has several very nuanced reasons for transferring. I'm not sure we should put much stock in his sister's twitter musings. Family members tend to see their sports playing relatives differently than an objective fan, so it's likely she thinks Jon was better or as good as McGary, JMo, etc, and may blame the coaching staff for his struggles. Either way, I wish him luck. Best case scenario - McGary is coming back and Donnal is a monster!

While I'd love it if he were to stay, he's graduating. What right does anyone have to demand (or complain) that he do one thing or another? He should do whatever he feels like. Play ball on the moon, backpack Europe, go to grad school, get a job...Do your thing, Jon (but no hard feelings if you change your mind and want to live in A2 another year).

he's transferring "from Men's Basketball Program." I think he's probably transferring from the university. But maybe I'm wrong and he's just changing to a different sport.
Slightly encouraging article in USA today. States that last week McGary said, "Last week he said he's not ready to play on that "next level."
Would love to have Mitch back in blue. Thoughts?
