Hoosiers (the band)

You're aware of our upcoming opponent, but you should also know there is a band in the UK called The Hoosiers. http://www.independent.ie/entertainment/day-and-night/tricks-amp-treats… Here is how they describe their name: "Indiana is the Hoosier state. People from there are Hoosiers. It's also a bit of an American term for redneck. We kind of liked that." They said it, not me.

The Hoosiers are so named because they somehow ended up playing football at the University of Indianapolis. I made sure I asked about this when people talked about them in England, because it's fucking weird that there's a British band called the Hoosiers. They performed at the nightclub at one of the universities near me for the Freshers Fair (British orientation week only with massive parties with celebrities), I went and they're pretty awesome.
