Hockey has a schedule

Starts with games against ASU Saturday and Sunday next weekend in Ann Arbor. Times still TBD.
In my excitement to post this, I failed to play off of Brian’s front page post and state, “This IS a hockey post.” Next time I will be better.

Hopefully we can become a hockey school again (with basketball) since football is out of the question!

The hockey schedule was posted several days ago, but titled "Hockey Schedule?", so this repost is actually a good idea.
Besides, with all the turmoil surrounding Michigan Football, it's buried three full MGoBoard pages back where it never would be found if one hadn't noticed the brief stay it had on the first page.

I am a little hopeful that the schedule is like that because the BTN wants content, and will be showing hockey several nights a week, but I am too much of a pessimist to think that it's going to turn out that way.
Those games against Minnesota will be big ones, though.

Anyone got any good guesses as to why they only announced a part of it? Maybe a wait and see / check and adjust approach to the season?

My guess? They are waiting for the basketball schedules to be released and then once that happens they will schedule hockey around M & W basketball.

Ugh; BTN plus??
I really, really, really want to watch this team, but based on past experience there is no way I am spending money on the 50/50 chance (at best) that BTN plus is actually able to deliver a video feed of the game and the 10 percent chance that there is a coherent audio feed to go along with it.

That looks like a bit of an improvement on the hockey TV coverage over previous seasons, with 5 of the first 10 games televised and 3 others TBA.
