Maybe (hopefully) it will put a chip on their shoulder since everyone is expecting more disappointment.

Michigan is probably* going to have two first round draft picks on their roster this season. I don't know whether that pisses me off or not since we've had first rounders on the roster in two of the last three years and have done squat with that talent.

Should definitely have 2 top 10 picks on this team. I predict this team will also score like 3-4 goals a game, but will again be mediocre on D and inconsistent in net. We'll look like a 1-seed sometimes and other times we'll want to throw our jerseys in the trash. There's just two many bad omens coming out of Yost to make me think this team is going to be better than last year's. Probably something like 20-16

It seems like Boo Nieves has been on this team forever. Maybe i'm just not used to players actually sticking around for four years. I've always been dissapointed with his production but that really comes down to the expectations that were set for him when he signed. Hopefully he can put it all together as a senior and help lead this team.

Long before last week's vote in the locker room, Compher, an alternate captain last season, led the team to a decision to stay together in Ann Arbor for the spring term in May and June to train and build camaraderie for the upcoming season. It was Compher that helped come up with the annual theme heading into the 2015-16 campaign: "Create The Difference"

It would be interesting to know what some of these meetings were like from a team standpoint, because I like this idea and think it might help more than they realize now. I rather like Compher's optimism on this later in the article too.
