Hey Mods - Any Chance of Creating a CC Sticky Thread?
REPOSTED AS IT WAS KNOCKED OFF THE FRONT PAGE
As is our wont when there's an head coach opening in a major sport - the board is getting flooded by CC threads which, if history is our guide, will start out semi-reasonable and then will devolve into the ridiculous over time.
Maybe just pin one new thread to the top of the board every day where people can post their random coaching thoughts instead of having a ton of new, threads created every day on the subject until the job is filled. We are less than 24 hours into Beilein's announcement and we've already seen CC threads on: Howard (twice), Cooley, Saunders, Mack, Yak, Donovan, Moser and Pitino.
I waited 30 minutes after typing this to see what would happen. Now we have one up for Thad Motta so I'm posting this.
Note: And in the last hour we've had the following added: Crean, Rudy T, Dutcher, Auriemma, Lambeer, The entire fab five, Frieder, Bird and President Trump. We moved lightening speed to the ridiculous on this opening that's for sure.
Please help us.

No worries. There are no mods apparently and this thread will soon get taken off the board as well by all the shit-posting.
Seriously though - an actual discussion about who our next HC could/should be would be nice but impossible cause all the nonsense posts would blast it off the front page in minutes.

Have you ever thought about using the MGoBloard link that lists 30+ threads on the front page?
Holy shit look who woke up! Havent seen you around here in forever.
FWIW I know that exists but I dont think 99% of the board does so once something falls off the front page discussion basically stops. I know I'm being overly optimistic here but I was kinda hoping for an actual discussion on possible replacements but instead I'm trapped at a 13 year old boy's birthday party where every kid is retelling the same joke cause the first kid who told it got a laugh.
We've now reached the stage of the party where the fat kid with glasses who smells kinda funny is telling it and wondering why nobody is laughing anymore.
Just looked at the 30+ list and see this same topic posted just two slots down...
That's cause the 15 stupid CC threads between the first time I posted this and the second just got nuked.
This or the other one can go bye-bye now as well.
I have that link saved as my favorite for MGoBlog. I rarely read the main stuff written by Brian and the others. It's nothing personal. I just prefer reading the board.
A sticky won't keep it on the list on front page...
It will if a mod pins it.
To the front page of the board, yes, but not the front page of the website (i.e. where the most recently posted threads are shown on the right side). I'm pretty sure, anyway...
