Here is the thread to let you know it's OK to post your victory threads

The lesson I learned from last week was that it was MOTHERFUCKING GLORIOUS to have all of those happy threads rain down on us, after years in the parched desert.

I will gladly do it all over again this week.  And for two more weeks after that.

Bring them on.

Am I on a path to addiction?  We just beat the hell out of Iowa for the big ten championship last night, but my emotional high is nothing like the one I got from beating the number 2 out of Ohio State last week.

No. It's all about expectations and belief.

We spent all week leading up to The Game trying to find ways Michigan could possibly pull the upset. Michigan was a ~7-point dog. Few of us had true belief Michigan could win. At the beginning of the game we mostly had hope. With a 1-point halftime lead, the hope slowly turned into belief throughout the game until the crescendo in the final minutes. It was fantastic and dramatic.

Last week was the opposite. We were filled with belief. All week we tried to imagine the scenarios wherein Michigan could be upset as 10+ point favorites. None of those scenarios included Michigan hitting 2 big plays to get out to a 14-point lead early or Iowa missing a red zone FG. ESPN never had Michigan below a 61% win likelihood. It was just not that dramatic. Fantastic, yes, but not dramatic.

Beating UGA or Bama will be more like the OSU game than Iowa, but still not as dramatic because we have some level of belief already.
