Hello: PWO RB/LB Ricardo Macon, Jr.
Vassar (MI) Vassar running back/linebacker Ricardo Macon, Jr. committed to Michigan as a preferred walk-on. He's listed at 5'11", 205 lbs. Here's a link to his Hudl highlights (LINK).
This was honestly the first time I found out that Michigan has a town named Vassar, which apparently has a population of fewer than 3,000. So this is some small-town football, but good for Macon and good for Vassar.

Small town hs football is the best. Good luck to the kid

Not only small town, but a small town that's not really known for football, not a mainstay in the playoffs and typically a whipping post for other teams in the area. So kudos to the kid for working hard enough to get noticed and earn a PWO

I haven't been to Vassar in about 20- something years but I do 'member it.
For those who, like Magnus, have never heard of Vassar, the closest better-known town is Frankenmuth about 10 miles to the west.
Go Blue, Ricardo!!!

I know someone who commutes from Vassar to Detroit every day.
I would have stopped in Frankenmuth myself and telecommuted, but as I live less than 20 miles from the city, I have no such excuse.

If you don't have family in Vassar you aren't missing tons. But as much as it pains me to say, Frankenmuth is a must visit at least once. My personal favorites r snowfest and Octoberfest but they literally have a fest every month

Frankenmuth is also famous for their restaurants known for their very tasty dishes featuring the nervous bird.

That's why we like to call it chicken city

Good fudge too.

Not sure what they put in/on their food, but it makes me sick after eating it. Doesn’t matter if it’s the chicken or any of the German dishes.

I'm sad for you. I think Zehnder's is glorious.

Zehnders thanksgiving day buffet, life changing.
Also little pro tip, go to the Z-cafe which is in the basement of Zehnders. Same food, minimal line.

I've got a friend that lives in Vassar..... I guess that is kind of a status thing, since he's only one of 3,000.

I’ve had just about enough of your Vassar bashing, young lady!

There is no need to bash Vassar, they do a good enough job by themselves /s

I'm putting the over/under on made up Vassar stories in this thread (after the several already here)at 10.

Nice write up on Ricardo on MLive. His uncle is Mark Macon so he does come from athletic bloodlines.
