Hello: Nick Kowalczuk (baseball)
Erik Bakich is certainly on a bit of a roll here—he got another commitment over the weekend, and his first one from outside Michigan: Nick Kowalczuk. Prep Baseball Report has the details:
Nick Kowalczuk, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound 1B from Oak Park-River Forest HS, has committed to the University of Michigan. Ranked No. 14 in Illinois’ Class of 2013, Kowalczuk is one of the best right-handed hitters in Illinois. He played a critical role in Oak Park’s Class 4A state championship, finishing with 34 RBI and 40 hits.
What is baseball?
just becuase it isn't football or basketball doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Baseball is one of the better sports to watch if you know the strategy of when and why to move players around. Plus, you try to hit a ball coming at you going 90+ mph.
Got the frame to get bigger and add even more pop. Like everything I see so far from Bakich and Co.
Thought you might be interested in this Prep Baseball Report article on Jackson Lamb. The author has very positive things to say about him, except for the bit about whether he'll ever actually play college ball. Author says Lamb has "draft potential."
Thanks for this. I'll have to check out this website more often. Looks like we're off to a great start with 4 of the top 10 instate in 2013. And a top kid for 2014 already.
I'm gonna try and catch some of Lamb's games this upcoming spring as well.
I go to school with Nick. Great guy. Helped us win the State Championship baseball title!
