Per 247, #8 TE and #187 player overall. 6-4 1/2, 222 pounds. Welcome!
In this particular case, it's actually Rivals that is more accurate. Yeah. It's confusing sometimes, but for Hansen, Rivals is the better ranking.
He's the #4 TE, and #66 player nationally.
Welcome Louis!
Great job guys. Will fit in very nicely in Gattis's offense.
???
Accurate because it favors UM? Or he is better than his 24/7 ranking. Seriously asking. Not being snarky.
It's a running joke around here, whichever site has our recruit highest is the most accurate.
Accurate because it's much more recent. 247's last evaluation of Hansen was 2018 when he was a sub 200 pound Wide Receiver. Rivals had him at a few of their camps last summer when he was being heavily scouted and recruited at Tight End. I would lean Rivals right now, but I think 247 will probably put him in the 90-100 range nationally once they catch up.
He’s probably really good but Rivals has a rep for favoring players that go to their camps, and sandbagging the others.
I'm aware of that, but it'll still be more accurate than the evaluation that happened when he was a high school freshman.
Very nice player. Nice hands and shows aggression/violence as a blocker. Will get to 240-250 pretty easily I think once the weight rooms open up again.
I like what I see. Probably won’t have any senior film because well, I doubt there is a high school football season this year
Welcome Louis! A big need in this class.
Out of curiosity, with Mustapha transferring out, do you think Harbaugh and Co. will look to bring a 2nd TE into the class?
Love Thomas Fidone’s tape, even if he’s a long shot
We are definitely looking to take two TEs.
In addition to Fidone, Michigan is prioritizing Brock Bowers, Jack Pugh (likely Wisky), and Moliki Matavao.
Great news for the good guys! Congrats to Louis and welcome to the family!
GO BLUE!
Anytime you get a commit who's a consensus Top-10 player at his position is a win in my book. Great job by the staff and let's keep it rolling because that 2021 class has a chance to be very special!
Good news, keep 'em coming!
Hell yeah!
He’s a good looking prospect that’ll help move the sticks. Will take a couple years to develop physically and competition level. Dudes he was playing against in Massachusetts look tiny
