we would be a close third behind only USC and Alabama.
Nevermind. Welcome to the Michigan family Mr. Clark!
MOAR TIGHT ENDS!!!!
Between Clark, Ty Isaac, and having our QB of 2016, I must say that I am feeling....what's the word.....I had it at the Sugar Bowl....it's so rare nowadays.....oh right, POSITIVE about Michigan football!!!
Have to be honest, though, when I say that I don't care who we recruit, as long as we find ways to win some damn football games.
Well, whether Hoke makes it past this season or not, the next coaching staff will have a well stocked cabinet
and 2016 recruits to decommit. There can also be attrition in the other classes. I'd suggest we look for success on the field instead of foolishly thinking there are no negative effects to a coaching change.
Does he stay a TE through his Michigan career? In his film he looks pretty solid as a defenseive prospect (6'6' 247). Quick note - J.J. Watt was listed at nearly identical size as Clark as a recruit (6'6' 240), played TE his freshman year at Central Michigan. Just a note.
He's staying at TE, he's perfect for our offense.
This is a super pickup for the MaizenBlue! Welcome to Ann Arbor, Mr. Clark!
The best TEs are good at blocking AND catching as you never know from the defense side what is going to happen (as opposed to the platoon system where its sort of a dead giveaway pass or run useage) and by all accounts that's what we have here!
Funny how recruiting can go thru these long dead periods where fans get to wringing and wronging and then the gates open up! I am suitably impressed about how this class has filled out. Love the way the commits seek to recruit other skilled players to come join them.
(Heck seems to have his finger on the pulse of the millstone other programs are trying to tie around our neck but I do truly believe Michigan will rise again).
Is the staff still pursuing him? If so, do they see him at tight end or defensive end?
