GRobinson III leaves trailer fire Warriors behind to join 76ers
Not sure the 76ers can turn things around this year but Robinson is a good pick up for what might just be one year. Hope he keeps up his 40% shooting behind the arc. When his outside shot is on, Glen is a difference maker and one of my favorite wolverines.

In other news, Derrick Walton Jr was traded from the Clippers to the Hawks for cash considerations. The Hawks said they will be cutting Walton :(

I don’t think GS is a trailer fire. They’re set to be a solid team once Curry and Thompson are healthy next year. I also read that GRIII loved playing for the organization and the coaching staff really liked him and will probably pursue him in FA this summer

On top of that GS just got Wiggins for an overrated DLo imo. They’ll be fine.

It was tongue in cheek and a joy to kick the Warriors while they are down. Like when I would chant Jordan has no game when he missed a bucket against my beloved Webber/Howard-led Washington Wizards.

If the Warriors get a top 3 pick in the draft this year will be a success. This year is all about recovery and restructuring. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them back on top next year. Steve Kerr is brilliant and the Splash Bros. are a deadly combo.

What the heck is a "trailer fire?" Is that like a less-bad version of a dumpster fire? I wouldn't even consider the Warriors any sort of bad-fire, considering they are missing their best-two players for the entire season and are going to land a Top-pick. They'll be good again next year. Dealing GRIII is to get under tax $ issues while they are punting on this season.

Trailer fires are what happens when Uncle Cletus leaves the coffee maker on; which is a difference.

1. This move was made to get under the salary cap. This saves the Warriors owners roughly $40 million in repeater luxury tax (which is applied when a team is over the cap in 3 of the previous 4 years) and gives the organization a reset.
2. Warriors will pursue Glenn Robinson III in free agency this summer. Warriors brass likes him and he likes the culture of the team/organization.
3. Besides, he gets to play for a contender this season. He can come back to SF for next season as a UFA.

Warriors in a better spot than all but maybe 5 teams.

Where he was actually playing, and where he was making a statement to stay engaged on next year's very good Warrior team.
