Goodbye 2000s

Submitted by Thorin on
The decade of Michigan football that started with Brady and Terrell partying like it was 1999 in the Orange Bowl has ended. As disappointing as it has been to watch at times, we will never forget the promise Henson showed in his junior year, Chris Perry's 51 carries against MSU, Navarre's Water Buffalo Stampede against Minnesota, The Braylon Game, Woodley, Graham, Watson, Taylor and Branch crushing fools, Hart's heart, The New Math, Breaston's returns, Robo Henne, beating Florida twice, Forcier beating ND, John Thompson's interception return against Wisconsin to name but a few. But it's time to say goodbye to the old press box, Massey's midnight pizzas, pretending that 1997 wasn't a long time ago, 2-8 vs. OSU, The Clock Game, 54-51, The Horror, Rocky Top and Fight On stuck in our heads, not holding on to the damn ball and two losing seasons. The 2010s start today.

In no particular order 1. 2-8 against osu (versus 7-2-1 in the 90s) 2. The debacle in Eugene (special teams are actually important Lloyd) 3. The AT fumble against NorthWestern 4. The clock 5. 01 osu ...the welcome gift to Tress 6. 04 osu... the 99 yard drive - welcome Troy Smith 7. Vince Young...yes, you are good... 8. 05 osu....gave it away... 9. That IAA thing... 10. Toledo 11. Tennessee bowl game.... And the list could go on... Suffice it to say...the problems run deeper and were there long before the current coach. Go Blue... Here is to better days...
