Thanks for the link.
I found this most interesting: "Everybody knew exactly what we were going to do,” Michigan defensive end Brandon Graham says. “That was like the arrogance of being at Michigan. ‘Our players are better than yours.’ That’s how it was. That kind of got to (players) when it stopped working. The big games, like Ohio State, we would want to show them something we didn’t do during the season. But we’d go out there and do the same thing.”

Look - Carr got really stale. It's undebatable.
BUT, the idea that Rich Rod is "more in the mold" of Bo than Carr is laughable. He practices hard, something Bo did. That's about it. Bo was the farthest thing from innovative play-calling I can possibly imagine. The Brandon Graham quote is certainly an indictment of Carr's last few years, but also an indictment on the entire Schembechler theory. The whole "line them up, and we'll out-execute them" way of thought is Bo's doing.
And shit like "making sure the players know staff members names" - if you don't think Carr was doing that stuff, you haven't read that much about the man.

I can understand though why Graham is frustrated. Michigans defense was on the field A LOT after run right, right left, pass and punt possesions that just ate clock.
