GLI Final - Michigan vs. MSU open thread

Michigan backs into the final despite being outshot by Tech, though we are down most of our best players. Knock on wood, but Michigan has handled FYS pretty well in the last few years. Most predict this to be a low scoring game. Lets do it.

Pretty good first period. Would be nice to cut down on some of the turnovers during the breakout. Racine looks like he will be having another good night in net.

Heading in for the game Jan 10th. Also got basketball tickets for 1pm. Is there a good place to park that you can access both venues without having to move? We have a hotel room in west AA but I don't want to pay to park twice. It's feasible to walk from Crisler to Yost yes?

Is there a chant primer posted somewhere on the webs?

Seems like the announcers are suffering from confirmation bias on the blocking of shots as they said that was MSU's thing pregame. Unless I'm also biased, seems like we've been blocking a ton of shots too. Several dangerous chances have been blocked down by our guys tonight

That Hyman goal was just dirty. Really seems like this team might be turning the corner, even with some great players at wold juniors. Or else I'm just Harbaughing them to goodness... I'll stick with the former.

This team was suposed to be dead in the water last week. If they beat State tonight, they'll be right on the edge of the PairWise rankings for an at large bid.

Who would have thought, considering they only have 3 quality wins.

I was shocked to see us at 22 before the tech win last night. Wisconsin/OSU/MSU are not very good, penn state is decent, and Minnesota is good but not exceptional. If we don't screw up, we should finish in the top 2 in the B1G and be in the tourney. IF......
