Completely off topic, but I'm currently watching the greatest DJs in the world putting on a spectacle in my home town of Sydney right now. It's perfect, too, because they will end right around the kickoff for Michigan.

He might win it if he can put together a half-decent defense for once.

Or also that he learned something from his time at Michigan, too.
September 26th, 2015 at 10:55 AM ^
That's why I hate the Rich Rod debate (which I kind of just started). BOTH sides can be right. He could've been a bad fit at Michigan that was always going to be somewhat out of place AND he can still be a great football coach.
It's not just one way or another. Somehow we developed this mindset that all great coaches can win anywhere and under any circumstance. Part of being a great coach is finding the right circumstance.
Anyway, Rich Rod is in a great spot indeed. And yes, he's winning. But he's also at an institution with less history, tradition and more freedom. He was also able to take what he learned from the Michigan experience and apply it to the next position (we all should learn from our past). In the end, he's just in an awesome place career wise and it's cool to see him happy, smiling and comfortable. Naturally comfortable.
The whole interview was different than anything he ever did while at Michigan, even before the losing and the drama.
For that, I'm geniunely happy for him. I'll be rooting for Arizona tonight. Hoping for a big Michigan win and that is the game I'm most looking forward to watching from beginning to end. The place should be ROCKING!

Yeah he looks so much more in tune with the school than he was here.
Good for him.
Okay actual question... WHERE THE FUCK does Keith Washington keep getting these awesome Michigan snapbacks?
Seriously! Just saw him get off the bus on gameday...and he's rocking a sweet snapback that's almost as cool as the one he was wearing the day he committed. Still can't find that one.
:(

The cheerleader/co-ed rumor mill about coaches is getting old.
Urban, Kiffin, Holgerson, RR etc etc...
Obviously Petrino disagrees.

I caught that too - I seem to remember that they did a GameDay story on this kid when he was still yet to get the surgery on his right eye, but I could be wrong as that was a while ago now. It was a very moving story though and it is awesome that he gets to live a dream by suiting up for the Trojans.

"Tennessee's SEC offense against the Florida Gators defense"
What the hell is an SEC offense? It's just like a regular offense right? The little things like that drive me insane with ESPN.
