Gallon's eligibility in question by Rivals?

Submitted by TW_M on
Rivals has a list of recruits who could potentially have to enroll at prep school, or junior college (Tyrik Rollison, Greg Reid for example). Gallon is on the list. Any substance to this, or will he be fine? Not sure if anyone has heard one way or another.

Grades are pretty much why his offer list isn't all that despite being an AAA participant. When Florida, Miami, and FSU all don't offer a highly touted prospect from Florida, it's most likely grades or off the field issues. We'll just have to wait and see.

I've heard from a couple guys within the program and/or know the program and recruiting as well as guys like TomVH and i've heard the same thing. I don't want to be a downer but his eligibility is definitely in question.

I doubt Gallon's potential eligibility issues affected Michigan's pursuit of Stokes because Stokes plays on the outside. More likely, RR wanted to recruit at least one outside receiver for the class and really stepped up his efforts once Peace de-committed. As for Stallworth, who knows? But that may have been a product of the coaching change; RR may have seen an open door and tried his hand. Let's just hope that Gallon qualifies.
