FWIW - Eugene Smith not enrolling early at WVU
He was very interested in UM before Newsome/Beaver/Tate, but went elsewhere when it was then apparent he couldn't come here.
Now he was supposed to enroll early but apparently his HS isn't going to let him. Chances are he stays a WVU commit, but I guess there is always a chance now.

dual threat would want to follow Pat White at WVU. I would think the Denard Robinson type would want to head over there.

WVU is trying to become a more balanced team. The reason Boyd decommited was it didn't work early so they did more spread option and he was pissed becaue they promised to throw more.
As the year went on they began throwing more as White got more comfortable.
What you saw vs NC in the bowl game is more what they want to be in the future.

Like I said, chances are Smith stays. It's a longshot he decommits; just couldn't get enrolled early.
But he did have high interest in us before, and there is a shot now if the skies align.
