(For those who are new, the column is written by a former Stanford OL and focuses on OL play.)
Onwenu gets praise for pancaking some people in the run game, despite the Patriots minimal output.

FO OL OK!
Because habit usually has me following the ball, to get info on the lines, offense and defense, is great.

I’m a pats fan and he looks much better than his Michigan days, Which he was pretty good to good. he had one bad miss against the Seahawks when he was playing as an creative TE on the goaline which got Cam stuffed but other Than that it’s remarkable as he’s played TE and started at both guard spots and Right tackle. Being a plus lineman at all those spots is going to get you paid along time.

Patriots had an amazing OL coach for a long long time in Dante Scarnecchia, who just retired (again) a couple months ago.
I definitely see a philosophy hangover here, because Onwenu started off as a 6th OL/jumbo TE. IIRC, Marcus Cannon had the same role for YEARS and turned into an above average OT. Kinda cool that Onwenu could level up in such a short period of time.
Wish Brady had stuck it out in NE. The Bucs' offensive line barely showed up in their last game, and Brady was visibly pissed about it. Meanwhile, Brian Hoyer was predictably Brian Hoyer, and the NE line showed up big time.

I still can't believe none of that was a typo.
