Start using Firefox, it's better anyways. If you use Firefox you can add adblock plus and that kills all the ads. Problem solved.

I started using adblock after reading this chrisgo, and I have to say, +2 to you.

Just keep in mind that doing so cuts Brian's revenue from ads down.

not being able to read his site

I must admit that I read that on another thread, I'm not sure who suggested it. So +2 to that dude.
As far as it cutting down on Brian's revenue, is that true? I might have to come up with some beveled guilt then.

I use both, each on a different computer. People do, and for the foreseeable future will, use IE, so the site should work either way.

The reckless driving ad (and only that ad) is making my page jump to another blank page with just that ad. Tres annoying.
January 16th, 2009 at 1:01 PM ^
yes...after a few seconds, it just jumps to the add screen on a page of it's own.
Please get rid of this!

I tried whitelising the page on ad-block recently, and the same thing happened. With ad-block operational, it is no longer an issue, FWIW.

What settings have you used? I've got ad-block running and am still having problems.

i keep getting an ad about reckless driving that takes up the whole page
January 16th, 2009 at 1:27 PM ^
That's because you drive like shit.

As soon as I typed that the web page went to the reckless driving ad and now that is all that comes up on FF. Internet Karma, it's a mother fucker.
January 16th, 2009 at 1:43 PM ^
hahaha, thats pretty good krk. but im getting that too. have to stop loading the page before its entirely loaded...whats up with that?
January 16th, 2009 at 2:01 PM ^
ok...got the adblocker and used the easylist filter. All is well now. Back to my grey goose. Damn there is a lot of traffic out right now.
