I believe he is part of the group battling Kovacs for the FS spot. I think Carvin Johnson has been playing SS.
Kovacs, Furman, and (I believe) Marvin Robinson are at SS
Carvin, T. Gordon, and Hawthorne are at FS (Gordon also at nickel per GMAT)
I'm correct on 1st and 2nd string, but given MRob has been in class, he hasn't been discussed that much. In any case, all safeties are learning both positions. We're 3-deep at safety. ... What?
WOW I can't wait for September
My calendar starts and ends in September. Does anyone know how the kickers are doing? Has anyone heard anything? Not that I want to watch kickers kick, but it wouldnt hurt my feelings to see our kickers booting footballs through the uprights at a rapid (and accurate) pace.
After going 4 for stupid, I think I'd be content with our kickers hitting anything over 50%
The national average is above 70%, I believe. There's no reason why we shouldn't aim for that.

I know the point of the early drills was somewhat for the RBs, but the line isn't getting the greatest of push or opening up holes too well as of yet. Some work still needs to get done as they switch blocking schemes. I assume it will look better come fall.
