I love my Red Wings and will always, I am also lucky and grateful enough to be a Kraken season ticket holder and the amount of love Matty B is getting from the fans is just awesome. The arena announcers give a lot of Michigan love too which is rad
I rotate my Michigan sweater in when going to games and lots of “Go Blues” flying around.
Matty B is going to be so good …I’m not saying he is , but he reminds me of a young Mario Lemuix
Game looks so easy for him Sees the ice so well

A niece of mine from GR (she's a Michigan grad, too) and her Aussie-born husband live in metro Seattle and are Kraken season-ticket holders.
If I'm fortunate enough to see them if they come back over the holidays, will definitely be talking hockey and Matty Beniers with them.

I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't even know that Seattle had an NHL team.
I'm happy to say that I now know that a former UM player is impacting Seattle in a very positive way.
