Deadspin Article about Brandon Graham

Pretty crazy how long Brandon has lasted. I know he was a 5* / top 10 pick, but he's still going strong with the same team 10 years later. Lots of other guys end up fading, getting traded around, playing 2nd string, etc. Brandon's still chugging away and making plays

What would you say is his secret? Is he like the fastball pitcher that learns crafty new pitches when his heat fades ... meaning: even though he's not as young as he once was, he's learned to be even better at technique?

He's the Frank Tanana of defensive lineman.

It will always bug me that the lasting image of the Eagles' Super Bowl win will be a one yard trick play in the first half and not BG's game-winning strip-sack on Brady. Helluva player and a man who provided a bright spot in the worst era of Michigan football. In that regard, he's the defensive version of Denard
Always a fan of Graham and hope his great career has many more lasting moments

I guess unless they score the touchdown, Patriots don't feel the pressure to call the play that led to the strip-sack.

As an Eagles fan from Philly I can tell you the majority of the fanbase think of BG’s strip sack as the biggest play in Eagles history. Not the Foles “Philly Special” play. He’ll be loved in this city forever.

Good
I was hoping he would get more love since he stayed on the eagles and Foles and Burton aren't on the team anymore

Graham's tackle of Glenn Winston in 2009 remains one of my favorite plays in Michigan history. Find it online, and, watch, it. Insane speed and power.

Boom goes the dynamite.

He hits him so hard, Winston's feet leave the ground. Then the staee pos can't get up. One of dbagtonio's favorite players. Straight from jail to practice then later kicked off the team for his part in the masked frat house beatdown. Brandon was a stud and still is!!!

Thanks for posting that. It reminded me of what the lost art of tackling is.

"Burst and suddenness"
Remember that from the play by play.

Yep, one of my favorite plays of all time. Absolutely trucked him.

"Graham isn’t just a player that doesn’t convert [pressure into sacks] as well as the best players in that regard ... but he consistently converts at a lower rate than average, which is certainly not a good thing."
I had to read that sentence 3 times before I deciphered it. Nothing like a triple negative. What it says is;
Graham's pressure to sack rate is below average.

Good for him.

Brandon Graham made more than one play to help the Eagles win the Super Bowl. SB Nation had an article about 5 key plays by BG in that SB.
BG deserved MVP.
