Danny O'Brien Article

Nice article about Danny O'Brien over at Mlive.  It sounds like he is wide open when it comes to his choices, but he does say some nice things about Michigan.

Michigan was the second school to make an offer early last season, back when Rich Rodriguez was the coach. While O'Brien said all the right things about the embattled Rodriguez at the time, he believes that the program is heading in the right direction under new coach Brady Hoke.

"Their new coaching staff is unbelievable," O'Brien said. "Coach (Greg) Mattison (defensive coordinator) and coach Hoke are big defensive line guys. They start from the inside out is what they're selling me. They're really big in that area. I think they're going to make a big turnaround, especially with the recruiting classes they're pulling in."

I'm reasonably confident two of those three will be in this class though. Nice problem to have.

than the others? Aziz is apparently rated the # 3 DT in the nation (for what that is worth - ratings service wise, how do you compare a guy in Cali to a kid in Missouri and say yea he is slightly better?) while both Pipkins and O'Brien are local kids (Pipkins has family in the area)  For future recruiting purposes do you take the two who are more local - especially O'Brien?
