Craig Roh

Submitted by Goblue89 on

So due to a family emergency I have not had the chance to post this until now.  I was able to see Craig Roh in action last Friday night and came away very impressed!  I only stayed unitl halftime as his team was up like 28 nothing or something and the oppostin team was struggling to even collect first downs (sounds familiar).  But he had 2 sacks and probably at least 7-10 tackles in the limited time I saw him.  The one thing that stood out was his first step.  The dude had the quickest first step I have ever seen! (I played college ball and no one compares!)  He was seriously in the backfield on every play before the lineman got out of his stance.  He is undersized and will probably benefit from a redshirt/Barwis, but he has natural pass rushing abilities that are clearly evident.  Another nice thing was his motor.  It seems like every good white DE gets classified as having a "good motor" but he truely does.  Think a smaller but quicker version of Green Bay's Aaron Kampman.  Anyways, it was cool seeing him play and I look forward to watching him the next 4-5 years.

On a side note and not to sound creepy but WTF is with high school girls these days.  Is it just me, or do they all look 20 and try to dress as slutty as possible?  I can honestly say there were a few times I did a double take and had to remind myself I am 25 and they were probably 16...not good!

LOL....high school chicks...that's funny.  My wife is a cheerleading coach, you have no idea.  Or, well I guess you have an idea now.

Good info on Roh...that's really cool you got to see him.  Here's hoping he is more Lamarr Woodley than Pat Massey!!

Yeah everything is all good...my dumbass cousin got in his 2nd motorcyle accident over the weekend and almost called it quits.  After a few surgeries and the lost of his spleen he should be all right. But yeah Roh is the man and will do will in Ann Arbor.

Do you plan on seeing any more of his games....if so, looking forward to the next eye witness account.

and LaLota, with a healthy dose of Van Bergen thrown in... with the exception of next year, sounds like our DE situation is in good shape.  Next year might be the most precarious, esp. if Graham leaves.  Van Bergen will likely start one end but Banks or Patterson?

Would also love to see Roh wear the #88 on defense next year... what can I say, I'm big into numbers.  Hence the name, I guess.
