Oh man dont say that, I got all excited when I found out he wasn't gonna run the 3-3-5, now you say this. Who cares at this point as long as we aren't as bad as last years D.

that cannot be close to the truth. houston put up 70 on that vaunted 3-3-5 stack. if michigan is waiting for this guy, there should be no faith left in rich's decision making.

well tulsa's defense is doing pretty well against ball state's vauned offense.
rich rod says that he is talking to several candidates so we wont know who he gets until he actually gets him

His head coach just signed for eternity (no upward mobility within).
The OC just left for Auburn (possibly for the same reason).
Tulsa's about to win back to back bowls, so the coaches are looking to cash in very likely (i.e. want out to greener pastures).
He's had respectable numbers within the conference in his 3 years as DC (a spread happy conference, so overall numbers are going to seem high).
Experience, last 3 yrs as DC, 3 prior years as several diff position coaches (secondary, linebacker).
Oh, and I found out his name, Keith Patterson.
