Comments on Transition on ESPN
Pretty good article by Pat Forde, fluff, but good fluff, on Michigan.

I wouldn't link it at all, but I wanted to call attention to the last bit of the article, where Forde discusses some programs that have had lousy years during the first year of their transition, and gone on to great things in the next year or two. The list of coaches he mentions reads a lot like a who's who of college football coaches. Sweatervest, Saban, Holtz, Carroll.
I could deal with it if Rodriguez went on to be one of them... except Sweatervest.
or Holtz and Saban.
Holtz is fine. Plus you get the Regis love.
Saban, I don't LIKE the guy, but he doesn't coach for OUR MORTAL ENEMY, and the guy is successful in football.
In terms of success? Certainly. In terms of character? I'd personally hope for better.
RODRIGUEZ like HOLTZ bring new meaning TO phrase 'spittle FLECKED"
Pretty good article? It's rather insulting if you ask me. We already discussed this in another thread btw.
I didn't see any other thread on this article. Where?
And if you can't appreciate good points made in an article, insulting or not, then why are you a sports fan?
