Carson Butler
I was at the game and I thought I noticed that Carson played in the first half (at least part of it, I may be mistaken) and then he disappeared in the second to Koger, who was not that bad and is just what we need, ANOTHER FRESHMAN. Anyways, does anybody know of a reason for the lack of Butler, maybe an injury or a disciplinary issue?

he punched a player last week. butler played special teams and i don't know if he saw the field otherwise. personally, i feel quite alright about that. his guaranteed false start per game was not in the least offset by his blocking or pass catching. koger on the other hand was a solid blocker from what i saw and has some really great hands. kinda surprised he skipped webb on the depth chart though. i liked what i saw from webb last year.

I remember seeing the punch, but Rich said he wasnt being suspended. In my opinion, he should have been suspended for the game. I think they need to use him split out wide, as opposed to at TE. If he is outside it seems like he will be a much bigger mismatch because it will either force a small corner to cover him, or drag a LB out there away from the middle of the field. It would also prevent him from the false starts as well.
