Carl Hagelin has surgery
Everyone's favorite Swede just had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder, now that the Rangers' season is over, as did his teammate Ryan Callahan. Carl played in all 48 games for them this year plus the playoffs, good for him! Hope he has a fast and perfect recovery! Does anyone know what the recovery time is for a surgery like this? Sorry, I'm not an mgodoctor.
He stinks.

Eveyrhting you ever wanted to know about a torn labrum and surgery to repair same is here:

One of my sons had labrum surgery at U of M a couple of years ago from a hockey injury. Not a lot of fun.
I let my patients back to full contact at around 5 months. Usually their shoulder is feeling pretty good by 2 weeks. Takes a lot of physical therapy to get the motion back.
