Break the Tie: One Frame At A Time GIF Tournament Round 1
Hello mgoboard... there's a GIF tournament happening up in the diaries that you may or may not be aware of depending on if you even pay attention to anything posted as a diary. I've never totally understood readers who love mgoblog for its longform analysis but refuse to click on user submitted longform analysis, but I digress.
This isn't analysis though. This is a bunch of GIFs from the football season to help us remember the good times and look forward to a bright future. They come from the diaries I've been posting all season, so you might not have even known that was happening either. Our diary folk have come to an impasse and need your help deciding between two GIFs. Voting has taken place over the past week and we have a tie up until now. There are 64 total GIFs in the tournament, so feel free to vote on each matchup, not just the one below. The one that's tied is a 5 vs. 12 matchup, because of course it is. Voting on Round 1 will end whenever I have time to post Round 2 tomorrow. Click on the link on "vs." between them to vote. Thanks for your help!
5. Stretch Armstrong
12. Yay Postgame GIFs!

I love all my gifs equally!

Is the 2nd one a GIF or a short film by Quentin Tarantino? If it is, that's by far the longest GIF I've ever seen.

Stretch Armstrong. What a great gif that is.

One frame at a time is one of my favorite MGoBlog features

After everything he went through, I can't not vote for Happy Ronnie Bell holding aloft the B10 Trophy.

Thanks for the reminder, I was out of town Sunday until late yesterday afternoon and hadn't yet gone back to your diary to make my selections.
In this one, though, I'm on Team Armstrong, as long as the NCAA isn't going to hit us again with a violation for excessive stretching.

Stretch Armstrong is great, but too much Rutger. Gimme championship trophy!

Winning is so much fun! Hope it doesn’t stop.

Ditto. The stretch play was great but the trophy gif is more meaningful.

Double ditto, but Blake not only stretches well beyond his normal reach, he even defies gravity in this gif.

I just took a look and with 97 ballots counted, it's a 48-47 margin in favor of Stretch Armstrong.
Does anyone here know how to reach Steve Kornacki to see if he's projecting a winner yet?

If there is still a tie by posting-time, winner will be decided by a coin flip, NFL overtime style. I’m sure that won’t anger anyone at all, right?

I'm going with the chalk on this one. 5 seed moves on.

I vote for the 12 seed upset

Update: Stretch Armstrong wins 58-55. Thanks for participating everyone! Round 2 is posted here.
