Iowa will wear home black jerseys with yellow pants, so the blue pants with the white away jerseys will be a good contrast.

Ya know, someone mentioned that we should be in traditional maize pants for something as important as The Game, and my first reaction was to agree.
But the all-blue isn't a bad look. The basketball team pulls it off.
And if The Team plays like they did this afternoon while wearing the all blue...well, maybe it should be permanent.

I think our best uniform is the white jersey with blue pants. It just looks right, and the maize stripes really jump out.

I’m not getting all excited one way or the other. I like the look and tradition of maize, but I do think they are being very smart, choosing jersey/pants combinations that provide maximum visual contrast to the opponent.
