Best place to try to tailgate Saturday (without a pass)?
Hey all, I haven't been a regular tailgater in about 4 years and I know things have changed a bit in that time. Additionally, I've heard the typical lots like AAGO and Pioneer have been switching to "pass holders only" due to the weather. So all things considered, does anyone have a recommendation on where to try to get a couple tailgate spots Saturday?
Thanks in advance.

My only advice...avoid any Bucknut fans, coolers or drinks offered to you from a Bucknut cooler

Luckys Market or Revel and Roll are an option. Sorry I can’t think of more spots. Just plan to arrive early if the golf courses are closed, tailgate spots will go quick.

The more I look around, the more it sounds like getting a spot early at Lucky's is the best bet. Thanks!

Luckys is the best bet. $2 pints, and if I’m not mistaken parking comes with 2 beers but that could have been a promotional thing they do once in a while.

Tailgate Guys at Ferry Field (between Fisher Stadium and IM Building) is the bomb! Pricey, but awesome! Highly recommend.

there is a rash of ohio trolls on the board these days....but chuck is not one of them. i've said it before, but he is so cool that i'd invite him to someone else's tailgate.

I love Allmendinger Park. Spend $30 to park at one of the houses nearby and take your stuff to the park. Plenty of room to cook out and throw the football around.

Was about to log in to post this, great choice, there’s even street parking if you are lucky and get there early enough.

How many houses around there park cars? We have a group of 5 or 6 cars and would probably tailgate right where we parked. Is this available around there?

I'd say quite a few. I'm lucky enough where one of my friends live across the street from the park, so he just saves a spot for us. Him and his neighbor share a double driveway, where they charge $25 (I think) for parking, and they can get about like 8 cars in there. There's also houses that have parking on their lawn.
I'm not sure if houses will let you tailgate in their driveway/lawn, but the park always has plenty space and just across the small street.

Flying in from Alaska with a buddy. Have been to the past 2 "games" and my brother bought us a ticket to the mgoblog tailgate 2 years ago.
Sorry to be bringing the cold, but where's a place 2 out of towners can hang pregame? We've got cash, good Gattis vibes, and our UM gear. Any tailgates we could crash?
