Basic HTML posting primer?

ShockFX's basic html primer is no longer in the MGoBoard FAQ. When clicking the link to the page, it reads "Page not found." This saddens me. Hopefully ShockFX saved what he typed and can copy and paste it here. K thanx

As a former web designer, I used to reference http://w3schools.com a lot. It has some pretty good tutorials with examples.

There is some abstraction with the content management system, but basic HTML should still be fine. The above thread has some handy shortcuts that are specific to this system.
