We lost the game but had a great time regardless. As a thank you, here's a brief recap: IU jumped out early with a 2-0 lead in the 2nd inning. We responded with 2 runs of our own in the bottom half of the inning. IU came right back with back to back HRs, and never looked back. They tacked on 3 runs in the 4th to make it 7-2. Despite loading the bases in the bottom of the 4th, we only came away with 2 runs. IU blew it open again in the 5th with 4 more runs to make it 11-4. Both teams picked up a run by the 8th, but Harrison Wenson hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 8th to make things interesting. But we fell flat in the 9th, losing 12-9. Miles Lewis, Nick Poirier, Jonathan Engelmann and Harrison Wenson all had multi-hit games. #13 Michigan takes on IU at home for the 3rd game of the series tomorrow.

You can't be serious. Sure you don't want to want to lose these games but we had just swept Oklahoma and won against MSU before that with our rpi being 23. We have played Maryland and Indiana so far in four series which is pretty tough. The rest of the year is cake for us after tomorrow. We are in easily.

You are token worst case scenario guy, always flying off the handle.

It's baseball.

This team just took Oklahoma to pound town 3 straight times.

Indiana isn't a bad team. They made the freaking world series a few years ago. Get Rutgers next weekend.

We should rise in the big ten standings with rutgers, purdue, a bad Ohio State team at home, and a msu team that has fallen completely off. We'll lose a couple more times but to miss the ncaa tournament we'd have to start losing 2/3 to Rutgers etc.
