Awesome Article on SB's Youngest Fan

Submitted by Sports on

10 year old Natalie Harper has had a battery of surgeries, including open heart, and is facing another. She's essentially been adopted by the softball team, which has included her as a member.

Awesome story. Great to see M sports continuing to make a difference in the lives of people all around the country.

That was a very touching piece indeed. Thanks for sharing that.

It is another great example of Michigan athletics not only being active in the community, but a tribute to the character of the athletes that Hutch brings to Ann Arbor. It is great to see her family doing everything they can to make sure she's as engaged and happy as possible too. Hopefully, this girl gets to watch Wolverines softball for a good many years to come.

Mgodad of a 2 year old girl.... who's cutting onions?  Awesome.  People say sports aren't important and it's just a game, but sometimes it's more than that.

A really touching story.

There was also a segment last night on local NBC News regarding UM Hospital taking a pro bono case of a young Palestinian boy who was severely damaged by a bombing in his homeland.  He will be here for a couple of years with numerous surgeries all performed with no cost to the child of his family.
