Army All American vs. Under Armor All American game
I am fairly new to this whole recruiting thing, so forgive me if I sound dumb. Is there a difference between who gets invited to what game, is one more prestigious than the other? It seems that the Army game has been around for longer, but it seems as if the Under Armor game is a recent thing.

Isn't like half the team Notre Dame recruits? It's all a bunch 'a BS too me. Or is that a different all star game?

NBC does the Army game so yeah like half the team is ND recruits...they had 15 players play in the game last year including the mediocre son of EPSN's Mike Golic. Like most things it is getting more hyped year after year and losing some of its luster. But it is still cool to watch future players in action and be on the edge of your seat when that 5 star reaches into the duffle bag to pull out his University's hat. Heres to Big Will pulling out the one with the Block M come Jan. 3rd.

The Army All-American game has been around for longer, but not too long (less than 15 years, I think). I only started paying attention to recruiting three years ago, so I'm not an expert. But I believe the Under Armour game is in its 3rd or 4th year.
In general, the AAA game gets the more prestigious recruits. The UA game still gets some great players (Julio Jones last year, for one), but normally the 5-star types are in the AAA game.

I lied. Last year's was the first Under Armour game. The upcoming one will be the second.

The Under Armour game is brand spankin' new, so the bowls have yet to battle for ultimate supremacy. I think it will eventually shake out that there is a place for each of them.
For Michigan fans (or fans of any particular school, I guess), the more relevant one is whichever has more commits/prospects of interest in it.
