I am interested in understanding what turned Sharp into such an assclown during the Carr era. Sharp wrote a glowing article about Bo after his death that made me believe that he was fine with Bo. He now writes a glowing article about RR and how Michigan is still Michigan. But during Carr's era, he was toxic. What the hell happened? Was it just Carr's surly attitude towards the press?
Anyone care to provide their wild ass, baseless speculation, because I have no idea personally.

I think it's deeper than Bo/Carr.
He's had a hard-on for the entire Big Ten for at least a decade and counting. Rodriguez is from outside the conference and has won a BCS bowl game. Therefore, Sharp likes him and thinks he is far superior to anyone else in the Big Ten.

Don't let that one blip on the radar fool you into believing that Drew Sharp's general douchery vis a vis Michigan is solely the product of the Lloyd Era. Sharp is, was, and forevermore will be the quintessential hack journalist. To borrow from a famous quote, he's a Mickey Mouse beat reporter...and that's being unkind to Mickey Mouse.
(I almost forgot the ubiquitous, "Or, maybe Sharp is just sucking up to Rich Rod so that Barwis doesn't come and eat him" line.)
