Even though they are lions fans, because they are also state fans, they hate a players on the lions who’s a pro bowl player, represents the program and state with pure class, but blindly hate him because he went to Michigan. I don’t see other college football fans acting that way. They might be the worse fan base in all of sports by being miserable, horrible people. Aidan Hutchinson comes across so humble like he’s just another guy. Growing up in Michigan he sees himself like any kid from Michigan. Hating on him is pathetic.

They'll have disdain for him until the future 'Edge1' documentary comes out on Netflix, then they will realize what a great guy he is and how misguided they were in their disdain. I suspect this because I may have harbored some fan-based angst about Kirk Cousins, then watched QB1. It could happen.

I will confess to being someone who complained about the LaPorta pick - not that I didn’t think he’d be good, but I thought they could’ve taken someone else and still gotten LaPorta with a later pick. I’m happy to admit that I was very wrong!

Was there a lot of shade on the LaPorta pick? Guess I don't remember that (or maybe I was just thankful that they didn't take him in the 1st round like Ebron and Hockenson, which were both horrendous picks...).
The blowback I remember was reaching for Gibbs and Campbell (not necessarily the players themselves, but how high they picked them)...

Draft experts said they reached for Gibbs, Campbell and LaPorta. Some thought Gibbs was secretly targeted by other teams but Campbell was never going to sniff anywhere close to the first round.

SRSB should be an All-Pro, but you look at the other NFC WRs and it makes sense. He'll be the first alternate though imo
