After Trying the NFL, Adam Coon is Going for Olympic Wrestling Shot Again
Adam Coon is one of my favorite U-M Olympic-sports athletes ever. He almost made the 2021 Olympic team in Greco-Roman wrestling, then had a tryout with the Tennessee Titans, and now he's back to wrestling with an eye on 2024. So glad he's still going.

If you're out in the real world and have a problem with someone who has cauliflower ear, just walk away.

i learned this as a freshman or sophomore in HS, thankfully, not the hard way.
one of my best friends was on the wrestling team, had wrestled since he was a kid. when I asked "what's up with your ears?" he replied "it's my sign to the world to not fuck with me."

Had no idea he was trying football. It's crazy that he made it as far as he did despite never playing football here; wonder how good he could have been had he tried the two-sport track...

Plus he’s got a decent fall back option U of M degrees - BS in Aerospace Engineering and MS in Space Engineering (I believe 4.0 GPA in undergrad).
( and he seemed like a nice guy to boot)

Sky is the limit with Adam Coon. What a great Michigan wrestler he was, and what a great great representative for Michigan he is.

Can confirm. Worked with Adam, professionally, and he is all-at-once a huge, smart, nice guy.
