My personal take is for us Ole Miss is way better for Michigan than another B1G or ACC team.

I think it's going to be hard for him to get kids from Jersey to spend 4 years at a place flying confederate flags 24/7.

Bummer, but best of luck to him. Obviously, it is a promotion so you can't blame the guy for jumping at the opportunity. Hope he gets some good experience and comes back to UM when Brown decides to retire.

Sucks to lose him, but he needs to move up, and there really isn't a way to do that here. As much as people hate Don Brown right now, Partridge is not qualified yet to be a DC at UM.

Co-DC at Ole Miss will give him experience he needs. If he does well, maybe he'll come back in a couple of years when Don Brown retires, or even start working his was up as a HC and be qualified to be Harbaugh's replacement in 8-10 years.

Is this really that huge of a blow. They should be able to find a young coach who can recruit. Devin Bush Sr? Hopefully one that can coach secondary a little better than partridge.

Obviously it sucks but we all knew it as going to happen eventually unless he was promoted to Michigans DC

Change needed to happen anyways because clearly what were doing isn't working that good. I just hope he doesn't poach too many Michigan targets
