I know this is said every year but I really think this class could be special. If Michigan could get guys like Will Johnson, Jaedon Gould, Josh Burnham, Dillion Tatum, Tyler Morris, Kaled Brown, Dominick James, Derrick Sheppard, Gibran Payne, and Marin Klein. Then theres also guys like Domani Jackson, Jaleel Skinner, Tyler Booker, Maalik Murphy, MJ Morris, Gavin Sawchuck, Gavin Wimsatt who are gonna be harder to pull. This class could really be special if everything goes right.

Still going to be a very good class, but the fantasy land #1-#2 class in the country stuff is out of the picture until we actually do it.

He reminds me of Ben Mason, he's kind of positionless in 2020/2021.
Right now is too slow/stiff to play LB, doesn't have the speed or bend to play DE, not heavy enough to play DT...and no one really uses a FB anymore.
That said, he's 2 years away, so we can pump the breaks and see how he develops. Plenty of time.

Yeah that's why I said DT. Hopefully he can put on the weight, otherwise he looks like a tweener who is going to have a hard time finding a position.

OSU really will hang 100 on us if we start trotting out "old school thumpers."
I'm nostalgic for a throwback MLB as well, but those days are over. Give me the McGrone's, Ross', Bush's.
Our biggest problem though is Zordich is a HORRIBLE recruiter and we don't have the factory of shut down CBs like OSU does. Enough with the developmental guys, we need future first round draft picks.

Exactly. This game is, first and foremost, about speed and quickness-size paired with these components is a bonus. I don't believe he can cover D1 TEs. I like this kid as a DT. I believe he will carry 290 well while retaining the quickness to shoot gaps, make the QB move and demand the attention of two OLs.
