Following up on the pitching rotation discussion in the previous baseball thread: the game notes show the pitching probables for the UC Davis series as: Ryan Nutof, Brett Adcock, and Evan Hill. So no change in the rotation so far.
God are we terrible at baserunning? I've seen two games and nothing but getting thrown out three steps after the throw
The Wolverines batted around in the fifth, scoring 4 runs to take a 5-1 lead.
I just tuned in and the bases were loaded. Now they're not loaded. Mea culpa. Signed off immediately. Just to be safe, I won't even look at the softball game.
San Jose scores 4 in the bottom of the 5th on a bases-loaded walk and a two-out bases-clearing triple. Game tied 5-5.
Hendrickson was relieved during the inning, apparently after suffering some sort of injury. His line: 4.2 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 K.
Jake Bivens with a two-out double in the 6th to score Thomas from first. Michigan back on top, 6-5.
Final 6-5 Michigan. Mac Lozer comes on with runners on 2nd & 3rd and gets the last 2 outs.
Michigan's bullpen will need a long outing from Adcock tomorrow; a lot of tired arms out there.
Baseball!!
It looks like there's no video stream for any of the UC Davis games, but audio is available. Link for today's game, which is scheduled for 5:30 ET.
