Watch enough games that yeah I do know what I'm talking about.  

Average defense at best this season, shooting 37% from the field this year and her 3pt shooting has gotten worse the last three seasons (40% down to 31%).  She rarely brings the ball up.  She's not an initiater of offense,  she's a floor spacer at guard.  If she isn't hitting those open threes, she isn't great at anything else this season.

first of all, she’s not the primary ball handler, but she does bring the ball up. not that NOT doing it as an off-guard would make her “a liability,” but whatever.

she also gets to the glass (3.6 a game, in the 59th percentile in the country as a 5’-9” off guard) has a 2.00 A/TO ratio (95th percentile in the country) and 79.9 DRtg (89th percentile in the country), which is borne out by the eye test - the next team to try to take advantage of her on the defensive end will be one of the first.  

she’s a tough defender on the wing, can shoot like crazy, doesn’t turn the ball over, and gets to the glass.  what the heck else do you want out of a shooting guard?

Dude, happy we won but you also can't glance over the fact they looked pretty bad after the first quarter (NC was +7 the last 3 quarters).

They struggled  against the press after NC made adjustments, had a horrible night at the FT line and 16 turnovers.  Overall, after the first quarter, it was a sloppy game.  It's not really debatable.

Did I say the sky was falling?  Did I say we suck and we won't win another game.  Hell no I didn't.  Did we not look great after the first quarter, no we didn't.  Did we look sloppy and turn the ball over alot, yes we did.

Just because they won doesn't mean we still can't be critical.  This isn't the first game they've had bad stretches against the press.

Brown went beast mode and we needed it.  But I'm also suprised that NC basically plays a 4 guard offense and Kiser really struggled, especially when they doubled the post and forced her to pass out.

Fuck man, we are allowed to be happy we won but also be critical as well.  They aren't mutually exclusive

lol.

"horrible passing" - we're 15th in the country in assists per game, with 18.1.  we had 19 last night.  we turned the ball over 16 times, the third-lowest total forced by UNC this season.

north carolina was 90.7 ORtg and 104.1 DRtg, both their second-worst totals this season.

we just cleanly beat the #6 team in the country in a so-called neutral court 2 hours from their home gym.  calm down and enjoy it.
