[I’m on vacation and arrived late last night and I’m posting this from my phone so forgive me if it doesn’t work properly.]

Men’s lacrosse is in Milwaukee this afternoon to take on the Marquette Golden Eagles at 2PM. The game will be streamed on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/HG8zRy1OUTY

Will be interesting to see how we play on the road and facing a bit of adversity from a slow start.

I'm also seeing their indoor stadium and wondering where that was 20 years ago.  I just remember playing next to a frozen river in February where it was so cold that my stick literally shattered after a stick check while shooting.   Not only did the ball go in, but the head and splintered shaft went in too.  Lucky for the goalie it didn't hit him because that was SHARP.

27- exactly! it was a night game in February or March in Milwaukee between some man-made concrete river/canal and a casino parking lot.  It was so weird. wish I could say I remember that but all I can remember was that being the coldest 3 hours of my life and getting heckled by two drunk guys despite being up 15 goals.

good thing M cleaned it up a little after going down 4-1.

Faceoffs!  Losing the first 3 led to the 3-0 hole... Marquette was dominant in the circle in that first half.  Hopefully Michigan cleans that up in the 2nd.  Good guys won three of the last four faceoffs (first two were Marquette violations) but that last faceoff was a beautiful win by 37 (Rowlett.)  First game I've been able to watch this year, but they look really solid especially considering they won less than 40% of the first half FO's.

M holds on 12-10 final.
that’s a good W, Marquette is a feisty team. Michigan was down early and getting crushed on FOs but they tightened up on defense and got in a flow on offense. Rowlett really played tough, winning crucial FOs down the stretch. 6-0!
Tough game this Saturday vs Delaware.  GO BLUE!!

How many wins should we expect in the B1G this year? 2? The conference is so loaded this year. I think we can beat Penn st. Rutgers and John Hopkins are toss ups. It’s such a tough league this year

L’Carp…

Rowlett is one tough fucking kid.  He got lit up after three straight FO’s in that 2nd half… couple times by a long pole a foot tall than him (2nd was called a penalty.). Every time he came back stronger.

The team really rallied around him and I noticed how hyped they were with him on the sidelines.  As a player, how much do you feed off of that energy of the face off specialist when you seem him sacrificing his body like that?
