10/18 Games-Not-Michigan

Some boring games on the schedule this morning.

Maryland just went up 7-0 on Wake Forest on a HB Pass.  Their offense has looked pretty good so far.  I felt they had a good shot of knocking off Wake at home.  So far so good.  Their jerseys are atrocious, though.

GT & Clemson has been a defensive slugfest.  Clemson just got the first 1st down of the game 7 minutes left in the first.  They followed it up with a "OMG i'm getting sacked, i'm going to throw it right at a defender."  GT returns it for a touchdown.

Syracuse/USF is "the bigeast game of the week."  That is terrible.

Haven't seen much of the Northwestern/Purdue game yet. Painter couldn't quite finish their opening drive.  Settled for a FG.

Georgia Tech is a fun team to watch.  I absolutely love the Paul Johnson offense.  They're going to go to a very good bowl this year - I think they'll be good enough that the Peach Bowl will want them for being the hometown team.  I shouldn't be pulling for them since they're in UVA's division, but I can't help myself, I like GT and came close to going there for school.  And besides, it's fun watching Klumpson melt down.

I'm following this on gamecast because I've got money on Tulsa. At the end of the first quarter it was 28 all with 500 yards of combined offense. UTEP just went 3 and out on their first drive of the second quarter though. 10 posessions so far and that is the second stop of the game.

Edit: Tulsa scored quickly. 63 combined points in the first 20 minutes.
