WTKA Roundtable 10/15/2020: Battle of the Brands
Things discussed:
- Rayshaun Benny and MSU’s interesting approach to his recruitment
- Michigan vs Michigan State in NLI recruiting: just look at the Nike deals. MSU’s is $34 million over 10 years; Michigan’s is $160+ million over 11 years.
- Joe Milton: what do we believe, what will it look like, speculation on McCaffrey is useless because nothing makes sense.
- Nico Collins: any hope?
- Dax wants to hit; he can play cornerback but doesn’t want to.
- Don’t be that surprised if they pull him out at CB when needed.
- Faustin is coming through, Gemon Green has enough talent to do so but hasn’t put it together.

Note, I couldn’t see nor hear Ira (we’ll get that fixed) so that’s why I wasn’t paying attention when he was waving his arms.

Nico probably took some financial benefits that he didn't want to pay back.

What's the intended lineup on the roundtable? Brian, Seth, Craig Ross, and Sam Webb? So no more Ed Feng?

Yeah. Changes the math if I don't have to be in Ann Arbor.

Was I the only one screaming "Ronnie Bell!" when Craig was listing the options at wide receiver?

Great work by Seth on this. TBH sometimes Seth is a bit “much” on MGoPods but this was super on point and insightful. Only one jokey moment with the MSU thing but it wasn’t belabored. I know Seth was waiting for my review so I’ll give it a 4.5/5 good transition to slightly more serious format. Look forward to more appearances. Also bonus that there was no Brian belittling Ed.
